The Amazon One technology offers a unique and futuristic approach to identification and payments. By utilizing palm recognition, customers can make purchases without the need for a wallet or even a phone.

Instead, they have to hover their palm over an Amazon One device, and the payment is processed seamlessly.

For added convenience, Prime members can link their Amazon One profile to their Amazon account, automatically applying savings without any hassle.

Amazon Has Been Introducing It Since 2020

While the idea of using your handprint for payments might raise concerns about privacy and data security, Amazon has been gradually introducing this technology since 2020 in its cashier-less stores known as Amazon Go.
